Our History

Since November, 1996, we have been servicing the tourism industry in our beautiful and dear Island of Puerto Rico. We started the business with the openning of Parador Palmas de Lucía, located in Yabucoa, in the southeastern cost of Puerto Rico. This was our first inn.

In the summer of 1997, we created the first All-Inclusive Program in Puerto Rico, including all meals during their stay at our hotel. The all-inclusive program had such a welcome, that it motivated us to continue developing and managing other inns.

In 2003, we opened our second hotel: Parador Costa del Mar, also located in Yabucoa, with a lovely view of the Caribbean Sea. We created Costa del Mar as a serene, cosy and inviting inn, perfect for couples.

By 2004, we restored and remodeled a beautiful historical building, which recreates part of our Island's history of the 1920's for the delight of our guests. This hotel is located in Ensenada, Guánica, in the south coast of Puerto Rico. We named it Parador Guánica 1929, in honor of its history.

In the summer of 2008, we will open our fourth hotel: MaunaCaribe, located in the picturesque town of Maunabo, Puerto Rico. Thanks to the knowledge, experience and growth over the years, we took the initiative to create and develop the first paradores chain in Puerto Rico: TROPICAL INNS PUERTO RICO.

Purpose

TROPICAL INNS PUERTO RICO proposes to offer the greatest variety of amenities and best service for our guests. Also, we want to strengthen and promote our family-friendly environment, our main distinction. With this, we want to surpass our clients' expectations and position our company as Puerto Rico's topmost alternative within the local and international markets of paradores and inns.
